The Exist, Daiwa’s iconic top-of-the-line model, has been radically redesigned with a new and revolutionary construction concept destined to profoundly transform the technological future of spinning reels: the AIRDRIVE DESIGN is based on the redesign and improvement of four fundamental elements of the reel: the rotor, the spool, the bail, and the main shaft.
These features were developed to make the Exist incredibly smoother and lighter, taking the pleasure of use to a level never before achieved by any reel.
In addition to the newly redesigned features, the new EXIST incorporates Daiwa’s proven and industry-exclusive technologies, such as the MAGNESIUM MONOCOQUE BODY and MAGSEALED technology used for the body, the bearings supporting the drive gear, and the line guide roller.
The latter has been further improved: the third generation of Twist Buster now features an additional groove that ensures even smoother thread movement.
Compared to the standard ATD, the new ATD-L drag maintains a more consistent response at the same spool rotation speed: this results in less overheating of the discs, more stable and long-lasting performance, and easier line control.
