Every component of the new Saltist has been designed and developed to offer maximum reliability and robustness.
- MONOSCOQUE BODY: The supporting structure is the now famous Monocoque Body, a single piece of machined aluminum that gives the reel structural rigidity and strength unmatched by any reel with an assembled body.
- AIR ROTOR IN ZAION:Constructed of the most innovative composite material developed by Daiwa, it is lightweight yet responsive, durable and extremely smooth due to its limited degree of inertia.
- AIR BAIL BOWL: Exclusive to Daiwa the Air Bail is a special hollow bow that widens smoothly and gradually to encompass the line guide roll, always ensuring maximum line smoothness even when not under tension, preventing tangles.
- MAGSEALED TECHNOLOGY: A special magnetized oil membrane protects the internal mechanics of the reel from water and dirt. Especially in sea fishing, this technology greatly prolongs the life of the reel by preventing the corrosive action of salt spray.
- ARK KNOB: Fighting the most exuberant aquatic predators requires a firm grip and great control, which is why the new Saltist is equipped as standard on all sizes with an aluminum spherical knob.
