The new Spitfire is the entry level for dedicated lake trout rods, but it has been developed with design solutions worthy of higher-end rods, tracing actions, curves, lengths and strength of competitive models. There are seven models available and they differ in length and power: the lightest ones (2-6 g and 3-10 g) are designed for sinker fishing (slide, chain) over short distances, the three intermediate models are ideal for bombardinas and maracas over medium distances, and the three most powerful ones are designed for bombard fishing over long distances.
