Samurai Cup – Experience the challenge with Trout Area champions

From Nov. 20 to 22, the world of sport fishing will gather for the World Trout Championship. Just in time for this extraordinary event, on Sunday, November 23, Daiwa and Vanfook, the main sponsor of the world championship, invite you to a unique experience: the Samurai Cup, a Trout Area competition-open to both the competitive players already at the tournament and anyone who wants to experience the thrill of competing side by side with the champions of this discipline.

The event

The Samurai Cup is not just a competition, but a complete immersion into the world of Trout Area. During all the days of the event (November 21-22-23) you will be able to breathe the atmosphere of the world championship, meet the protagonists, discover the latest Daiwa and Vanfook branded novelties, and participate in moments of discussion and workshops dedicated to those who want to grow as athletes or simply experience the passion for this technique up close. On Nov. 21 and 22 (Day 1 and Day 2) you will have the opportunity to attend the preview presentation of new Daiwa and Vanfook products for the trout area, test products in a dedicated area and participate in fantastic Workshops thanks to the presence of Japanese Prostaff Koki Wada. The day of November 23 is dedicated to SAMURAI CUP, the Daiwa and Vanfook trout area competition with which to win fantastic prizes, including even the WILD CARD for the Japanese Vanfook Cup!

A special guest speaker

Making the Samurai Cup even more special will be the presence of Koki Wada, Daiwa prostaff and Vanfook ambassador. A two-time Japanese King Trout Championship champion and one-time runner-up, Wada represents one of the most iconic figures internationally. His experience and approach to fishing will be an inspiration to all participants.

How to get to the event

By car:

  • From the A14 (Adriatica) highway, take the Teramo-Giulianova-Mosciano Sant’Angelo exit.

  • Continue on the SS80 in the direction of Teramo for about 25 km.

  • Then follow the signs to Campli and then to Contrada Santo Stefano.

From Rome or from within:

  • Take the A24 Rome-Teramo highway to the Gran Sasso tunnel, then continue in the direction of Teramo.

  • Once you exit at Teramo, follow SP262 toward Campli, then local signs for Contrada Santo Stefano.

The competition is single:

  • Registration must be done by each individual participant.
  • Once you sign up and make payment you will be contacted on Whatsapp through the phone number provided during registration.
  • Tickets can only be purchased through the dedicated online platform by clicking on the “Buy” button.

The registration fee for the race is €45per individual participant.

Yes, participation in the events and workshops (Day 1 and 2) is totally free and does not require registration. The ticket is to be purchased only to participate in the Day 3 race (Sunday, Nov. 23).
