AFTER SERVICE POLICY

Daiwa Italy S.r.l. warrants that Daiwa Products, under normal use, are free from defects in workmanship, material, and design.

We give our products, limited to use in sport fishing, a 24-month warranty from the date of purchase and limited to the first purchaser of the product.

Warranty fulfillment

In the event that an angler identifies a defect in a Daiwa Product, he/she must return it complete with all parts to an official Daiwa retailer along with the purchase receipt.The retailer will forward the product to Daiwa Italy Srl headquarters for on-site evaluation.

The After-Sales Service team will inspect the Item and proceed, at its discretion, to repair or replace the product or any of its components if defects in material or workmanship are found. There is no charge to the purchaser or respective recipient for repair or replacement of the defective product during the Warranty period. In the event that the defect is not attributable to a manufacturing defect or was caused by improper use of the product, Daiwa Italy will provide the store with the best estimate so that it can proceed with the repair for a fee.

Exclusion of warranty

  • Missing, lost or improperly removed parts.
  • Faulty operation due to causes external to the product such as accidents, misuse, traumatic events, negligence.
  • Normal product wear and tear, carelessness and failure to clean, malfunction caused by incorrect or absent maintenance.
  • Alterations caused by repairs/tampering not performed by Daiwa After-Sales Service.
  • Expiration of the validity of the warranty/return period for the product lacking a purchase receipt proving its legitimacy.
  • Cimini and second pieces of telescopic rods are not intended to be covered by warranty. Exceptions are manufacturing defects identified as such by the After Sales Support Team.

Scope of application

The scope of the Daiwa Italy Srl warranty is limited to products purchased in Italy from authorized dealers. In the event of a warranty claim, please contact the dealer from whom you purchased the product.

N.B. Please keep your invoice and/or receipt after your purchase. Proof of purchase is required for warranty work to be performed!

Intellectual property and proposals from third parties

DAIWA ITALY SRL, (hereinafter, “Company”) is constantly engaged in research and product development activities, innovating ideas and technical knowledge based on these activities.

The Company refrains from accepting proposals or ideas from third parties in order to avoid restrictions on the Company’s research and development activities by accepting such proposals, as well as to prevent future misunderstandings and problems that might arise between third parties and the Company.

If the Company receives a proposal regardless of the above policy, the Company will handle such a proposal as follows:

(1) The Company will not consider or evaluate the proposal received in any way.

(2) The Company will not assume any responsibility for the confidentiality of the proposal.

(3) The Company understands that a third party who makes a proposal to the Company has waived all of its rights to the contents of the proposal.

(4) Even if the Company’s products and services were the same or similar to the contents of the proposal, the Company will not assume any responsibility for them, including payment of the fee.

(5) The Company will not assume any responsibility regarding any return of materials or attachments related to the proposal received from third parties.
