The Daiwa Saltist Star Drag Slow Pitch Jigging is a reel developed to meet the technical demands of slow pitch jigging, where bait control, fluidity of retrieval and reliability under load are critical.

The compact , high-stiffness aluminum structure ensures stability and precision during the fishing action, while the smooth and progressive retrieval allows the jig to be animated naturally, always maintaining maximum control even at depth.

The ATD (Automatic Tournament Drag) clutch system with carbon-fiber discs ensures consistent, jam-free delivery, allowing it to handle challenging fights with powerful predators without losing sensitivity or safety.

CRBB bearings, designed to resist marine corrosion, keep the reel running smoothly and reliably over time, even after heavy use in a saline environment. Paired with a slow pitch jigging rod, the Saltist Star Drag offers an ideal balance of power, control and comfort, making it a technical tool designed for demanding anglers.
