Presso LTD AGS – Italian Special are top-level trout area rods developed specifically for Trout Area tournament. These rods are a combination of Daiwa technologies and the feelings of Japanese testers.
Overview
A “Special” that traces the Japanese market’s Presso LTD AGS 20thAnniversary: it is the special version dedicated exclusively to the Italian market and traces its top quality and performance.
Even lighter and more responsive than the “standard” LTD AGS, this special series is designed for a target audience of racers who want a product of pure excellence to tackle competition. The ultimate trout area rod.
The blanks make use of a special SVF Nanoplus Compile X Carbon: a top-grade carbon treated with polymers that act at the nanoscale (Nanoplus). SVF Nanoplus Compile X, due to its even higher density and lower resin input, makes it possible to create even thinner, more responsive and super-sensitive drums than “standard” SVF Nanoplus carbon.
In addition, performance is further enhanced by the X45X Full Shield: a reinforcement composed of multiple layers of carbon, strengthens the rod and reduces twisting during casting to improve accuracy.
These extremely high-density and lightweight carbon blanks, together with the ultra-light AGS carbon rings, make the PRESSO ITALIAN SPECIAL of unbeatable sensitivity.

The “PRESSO LTD AGS 58ML-S Italian Special” is designed with the high-sensitivity “two-stage taper solid” concept. This concept aims to increase the sensitivity of the shaft, making the angler’s hands feel the slightest movement of the bait and the variation of water current flows.

A rod built specifically for competition, the “PRESSO LTD AGS 61MLF Italian Special” is designed for fishing with small spoon and crankbaits with low-stretch lines such as ester or multifiber. Thanks to the fast taper, it is possible to sense even the most timid “bites” and “wound” the fish with a minimal wrist movement.

The “PRESSO LTD AGS 63UL Italian Special” is extremely sensitive with high throwing capabilities. The lightness of the blank (99% carbon) allows for an uncommon sensitivity that can make the angler feel shy bites over long distances and allow the fish to be “baited” more easily thanks in part to the stiff section at the tip.
