As the name suggests the EGI TAKO X is a rod designed for octopus fishing from a boat suitable for use with rotating reels. It has a light yet powerful and sensitive structure. The carbon shaft has a special reinforcement called Braiding X-a special layer of carbon that makes the blank stronger and limits its twisting in fishing. This makes it perfect for thwarting large cephalopods and for use even in deep areas with strong currents.

The selvedge is made of fiberglass to ensure all the sensitivity needed to sense even the most timid touches.
