Emeraldas Air is the first reel in the Emeraldas family, the Daiwa brand dedicated to cephalopod fishing, to espouse Monocoque Body technology.

The body constructed of ZAION makes it not only incredibly light but also extremely rigid. The choice of ZAION also for the construction of the rotor makes it possible to significantly reduce the weight of the rotor by generating less inertia and thus giving it smoother rotation than previous models.

The 2500 model, with single 50mm throttle, is the lightest in the history of Eging; in fact, it weighs only 160gr. It is also equipped with a Finesse Custom clutch with a maximum drag of 5Kg.

The Model LT2500-XH, on the other hand, has a slightly longer 55 mm single throttle to compensate for the higher recovery ratio.
