PRESSO LTD AGS
The Presso LTD AGS are trout area rods of the highest standard. Simply the best that any competitor could wish for.
Overview
The PRESSO range represents the evolution of dedicated trout area spinning rods for those seeking maximum sensitivity, light weight and control. Each model is designed to transmit every tiny movement of the artificial and the fish directly into the angler’s hands, ensuring high performance in all fishing conditions.
Thin but powerful shafts combined with a hollow carbon handle allow for total control of the line and immediate feedback on everything happening in the water. PRESSO rods integrate the most advanced technologies:
-
SMT: accurate perception of bottom contact.
-
MEGATOP: ultra-sensitive tip for responsive ferrates and control of micro-spoon and micro-crank.
-
SVF Glass: combination of sensitivity and power, ideal for medium-heavy lures and bottom techniques.
-
AGS R-frame guides: optimized guides for maximum distance, sensitivity and tangle reduction.
From the precision of micro spoons and micro cranks to the power required for heavier cranks and lures designed for bottom fishing, the PRESSO line offers a solution for every need, allowing you to tackle any situation with confidence and responsiveness.
Each PRESSO rod is designed to transform the perception of fishing, bringing every detail, even the smallest, directly into the hands of the angler and making every shove a precise and controlled experience.
| MODEL | DESCRIPTION |
|---|---|
| 55M-SMT | Ultra-sensitive model for bottom fishing. Aggressive rod with ultra-short SMT top, perfect for braided strands (PE). Ideal for retrieve techniques such as “digital retrieve” (a jerky retrieve technique that gives the bait an unnatural motion) or lift & fall (a retrieve technique that involves holding the bait): every movement of the bait and every contact with the bottom are clearly felt. Also good for topwater. |
| 58L | Specific model for bottom fishing. It allows precise handling of jigs, metl vibe and spoon, making it easier to bait. The 5’8” length and slow taper action allow even the most timid bites to be felt, combined with low-stretch yarns for optimal performance. |
| 58ML-S | Solid double-taper tip. The double taper solid top increases sensitivity, allowing sensing and ferreting even with micro spoon or on apathetic fish. |
| 510UL | All-round model. High sensitivity to sense the action and movement of the lure. Regular action ideal for spoon and crank. |
| 61L | Specific model for crank. Soft top maximizes bait action, stiff back improves sensitivity and ferrata. The shaft absorbs fish fight, which is also ideal in conditions of low fish activity. |
| 61ML | Versatile medium-heavy model. From spoon under 1 g to cranks and minnows to metal vibe for bottom fishing. Soft top for spoon, Stiffer back for plug control, perfect even on “freshly released” fish. |
| 510UL-S | MegaTop top model for harsh conditions. Super sensitive, ideal for micro spoon and crank in low activity conditions. It guarantees accurate ferrates even on apathetic fish. |
| 61L-S | Sensitive and versatile model. Sensitive top and stiffer back for safe ferrates without scaring fish away. Suitable for “more aggressive” techniques such as bottom fishing and topwater fishing. Also good for small minnows. |
| 55XUL-S | Model with quick response over short distances. Flexible solid top keeps hook in mouth, soft back absorbs vibrations without the risk of dislodging. Ideal for micro spoon and micro crank. |
| 61MLF | Model with “tubolar” top, sensitive and strong shaft for drier ferrates. |
| 61UL+-E | Specific model for ester. Sensitive line capable of luring the fish, back and shaft follow the movement minimizing slagging. In addition, small guides improve sensitivity and reduce problems. |
| 61ML-S | Solid top and stiff back, high sensitivity and control. Suitable for technical plugs and spoon. |
| 58L-G | SVF Glass (Fiberglass) model. Flexible top, back, and rigid shaft to combine sensitivity and power. Ideal from micro crank to heavier spoon. |
