V-Joint α

The secret to the curve perfection of Daiwa rods is hidden among the layers of carbon that make up their structure. Near the joints the fiber warp changes direction, assuming an inclination that allows them to disperse stresses along the stem. This configuration causes the joint to be as flexible as the rest of the rod, which has advantages in terms of strength and reduced wobble during casting. In their most advanced version called V-Joint α, they use carbon combined with the special Nanoplus resin: this makes the joint even more precise and adherent, with a more harmonious action and almost no power dissipation.

X45X Full Shield

Carbon HVF

High Volume Fiber (HVF) carbon uses a reduced amount of resin and a high fiber content.
During heat curing, the fibers adhere more compactly, generating a lighter, stiffer and more responsive blank with higher power transmission than conventional coals.
