SALTIGA CASTING
The new Saltiga Casting rods are heavy-duty spinning rods with class-leading strength and casting performance designed to take on the most fearsome and strongest marine predators, both from shore and from the boat.
The new Saltiga are high-end rods designed for medium and heavy spinning. Designed to face the most fearsome and strongest marine predators from both shore and boat, they combine best-in-class casting performance with great power and strength. The lighter ones (with max. casting 60 and 80 g) are ideal for spinning medium-sized pelagics such as tuna, walleye, amberjack, and dolphinfish, while the more powerful and robust ones are suitable for tuna spinning.
The barrel is composed of powerful HVF carbon blanks treated with Nanoplus resin and are coated with a special carbon layer that makes them even stronger and reduces twisting-the X45 full Shield. This new technology allows for blanks that are enormously stiffer and stronger than traditional X45 . Energy transfer along the blank is 25% more efficient, imparting greater structural rigidity and torsional strength.
The Saltiga Castings adopt the brand new V-Joint Alpha joints: this further evolution of the famous V-Joints is constructed by adopting Nanoplus resin, which makes the joint even more precise and adherent, with a more harmonious action and almost no power dissipation.
