Overview

The new Emblem in the Surfcasting version confirms the winning formula of the previous model, further improving it in both build quality and looks. Both body and rotor were constructed in the innovative material ZAION V: a carbon-based composite material that is lighter and stronger than traditional materials and totally corrosion-free. In fact, the weight of the new Emblem is reduced by 25 grams compared to the previous generation. The new 45 reel is Ultra Long Cast with Shallow profile (0.30-300 m) facilitating the use of thin wires to maximize casting distance. A second Long Cast reel with larger capacity (0.35 to 300 m) is provided. The winding system can rely on the proven Slow Cross Wrap technology, slow winding with cross coils that ensures optimal thread collection.

The new Emblem is also equipped with Air Bail type hollow headband, while the clutch is a new generation QD, more modulable and precise than the previous one.
Magsealed technology, Daiwa’s special patented magnetized oil membrane, protects the internal mechanics from the corrosive action of salt spray, an important feature for prolonged use in a marine environment.
