The CROSSCAST 45 SCW QD LD is a mid-range Carp reel equipped with a 45 mm long profile spool: in this Long Distance (LD) variant, it is equipped with a high-capacity spool capable of accommodating a larger amount of line (530 m for 0.35 mm wire) to meet the needs of all anglers who need to reach spots placed at great distances. The spool size of as much as 45mm also encourages even longer casts and, for greater fishing precision, is equipped with a “High Impact” cushioned line-holding clip.
This version of the Crosscast also retains the SCW winding system: a true technological first developed by Daiwa engineers, this Slow Cross Wrap (Slow Cross Wrap) winding system optimizes wire pickup while positively affecting casting performance.
